PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS
PROFESSIONAL PET GROOMING COURSE - FULL TIME
Using a combination of demonstration and hands-on practice, students will learn how to groom every breed common to this geographical area.
We will cover everything from breed identification, breed standard patterns, what looks best for mixed breeds, everyday pets, to hand scissoring, and everything in between, even touching on creative grooming!
Keep in mind, we do not teach “show grooming”. This course is for professional pet groomers, not show groomers.
PROFESSIONAL BATHING COURSE
Using a combination of demonstration and hands-on practice, students will learn everything from thoroughly bathing, what kind of shampoo to use, expressing glands, force-fluff drying, trimming, smoothing, and painting toe nails, proper ear care, identifying breeds, flea treatment, how to properly rough in a dog, bow and bandana making, and much, much more!
PERSONAL PET GROOMING COURSE: Must bring your own dog
Using a combination of demonstration and hands-on practice, ten classes will provide everything you need to know about grooming your own personal pet. All classes can be scheduled at student’s convenience, but must be used/completed within one year. Pricing
NAILS ONLY CLASS: Must bring your own dog
Using a combination of demonstration and hands-on practice, this class will teach you the proper technique on how to execute a safe and healthy nail trimming on your pet. The class provides all supplies, which are yours to keep, including nail clippers, dremel tool and styptic powder

Professional Pet Grooming Course
3 1/2 months
14 (5 day) weeks = 70 days about 7 Hours/Day
Approximately 490 hours
Weeks run: Tuesday through Saturday
All equipment provided.
Tuition - $2,000
- $700 down payment to be paid when enrolling.
Equipment Fee - $150
- To be paid at the time of enrollment.
Total Cost - $2,150
- that may be paid in full at the time of enrollment.
Weekly Payment Plan - After the $800 paid at the time of enrollment, $92.86 for 14 weeks, due every Saturday.
Professional Bathing Course
6 (5 day) weeks
30 Days
Approximately 240 hours
Weeks run: Tuesday through Saturday
All equipment provided.
Tuition - $800
- $300 down payment to be paid when enrolling.
Total Cost - $800
- that may be paid in full at the time of enrollment.
Weekly Payment Plan - After the $300 paid at the time of enrollment, $83.33 for 6 weeks, due every Saturday.
Personal Pet Grooming Course: Must bring your own dog

- to be paid in full at time of enrollment.
No payment plan. $50 non-refundable equipment use fee.
$700 for a 45Lbs dog or less and $900 for a dog over 45Lbs
Nails Only Class: Must bring your own dog
Nails only - 2 hours
Tuition & Total Cost - $100
No payment plan.
To be paid in full at either the time of enrollment or before starting class.
Tuition includes all supplies, which are yours to keep!
No refund will be issued after the start of the class.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
General:
All applicants, for all programs, must sign an enrollment agreement. For all except the Nails Only Course, all applicants must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Prerequisites:
Unleashed does not require applicants and students to hold a High School Diploma or its Equivalency. At Unleashed, the minimum age for an applicant to enroll is age 16 unless, after meeting the applicant, the Director approves a younger students.
Professional Pet Grooming Course:
All applicants who wish to enroll in the Professional Pet Grooming Course must attend one full class day at Unleashed to be evaluated by the director Based on the evaluation day, the School Director may make recommendations that the applicant should attend other courses before enrolling in the Professional Pet Grooming Course. If made, such recommendations will be required to be followed by the applicant.
Professional Bathing Course:
All applicants will have an interview with the School Director prior to starting class.
Personal Pet Grooming Course:
Applicant must provided her/his own pet. Must agree to use (complete) all ten classes within one year’s time. This course does not prepare applicant for Professional Pet Grooming Career.
Nails Only Class:
Applicant must provide his/her own pet. Dates of class shall be issued upon enrollment. This course does not prepare applicant for Professional Pet Grooming Career.
